Riverwood Middle SchoolGrades: 6-8 Riverwood Middle School received Gold Performance Acknowledgments in 2008 from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as well Commended Performance on Reading/ELA, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
Kingwood High SchoolGrades: 9-12 Kingwood High School is a Class Five-A comprehensive high school. Teachers, counselors, and administrators offer an individualized approach to learning and development. KHS is fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency, and 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005. Kingwood High School opened in 1978, and is currently in the second and final phase of a two-year extreme renovation that will reorganize the school into smaller learning communities, or houses, to personalize student learning. Students have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of clubs, organizations, sports and other extracurricular activities at Kingwood High. Kingwood High School received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for Texas Success Initiative (TSI) ELA, Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Mathematics and Commended on Social Studies. |
