Oakhurst’s fanciest new readers are in for a special treat!

Barnes and Nobles at Deerbrook Mall will be hosting a Fancy Nancy Tea Party on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. in celebration of National Poetry Month. Girly-Girls welcome!

What better way to encourage our newest readers to explore books than with a special reading of Fancy Nancy: Poet Extraordinaire! while snacking on delicious tea party food and refreshments! No word on whether there will be a “poet-tree,” like in the book, but you can count on lots of fun for literary divas in training.

Dress-up your girly-girls in their biggest hats, sparkling tiaras, and fanciest attire and join in the fun. Due to limited space, this event is strictly RSVP only.
