Kingwood Garden Center: Spring Vegetable Gardening

The first signs of spring are the beautiful yellow blooms from the forsythia bush. The winter is passed; the soil is warming and ready to be seeded with spring vegetables. Join the Kingwood Garden Center, 1216 Stonehollow Drive for a lecture on spring garden vegetables.

Tom LeRoy and Bill Adams, authors of their new book the "Southern Kitchen Garden" will discuss the various points of Spring gardening. The authors will also have their previous publications "The Lone Star Gardener's Book of Lists" and "The Texas Tomato Lover's Handbook" available for purchase and book signing. Adams is a regular contributor and photographer for Neil Sperry's Gardens Magazine and to Mother Earth News. LeRoy is a Master Gardener with degrees in horticulture and plant breeding from Texas A&M University.
