First Annual Home & Garden Show Coming to Kingwood

The Humble Civic Center will soon be hosting the first annual Lake Houston Area Home & Garden Show on February 19 and 20, 2011. This will be the first large-scale Home & Garden show to come to this area.
There will be many exciting things for attendees to enjoy including a “shop at the show” area for cash and carry purchases of home décor, jewelry, and home products. The show will also offer a “Go Green Zone” that will feature businesses helping homeowner’s live a greener lifestyle. Topics that will be discussed will include organic gardening, home organization, do-it-yourself project and more.
A seminar-style series will run both days of the Home & Garden Show and will feature experts such as Johnny Chuoke, host of the “Happy Handyman Show,” professional organizer Ellen Delap, founder of www.Professional-organizer.com, and Bobby Spence, from the Harvest Supply Company. Chris Miles of “House Talk Today” (1020 KNTH) will be broadcasting his radio show on Saturday February 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Sunday February 20. Jim Dutton with Texas Home improvement (740 KTRH) will broadcast from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
