The Children's Story Time in the Garden features nature books on June 18 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, 22306 Aldine Westfield Road.
Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens is over 300 acres of East Texas Piney Woods located along Cypress Creek which showcases the largest collection of plants in the region. The third Monday in June the Children’s Librarian at Baldwin Boettcher will read stories about nature featuring Growing Colors by Bruce McMillan. After storytime the children can participate in craft time as part of the garden reading.
